John Clark, Chairman
John Clark is the controlling shareholder and Chairman of Caledon Trust Company, parent company of CommonWealth. John received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University in 1963. He is the co-founder of three well known Canadian money management firms: Connor Clark & Company (1977), Connor Clark & Lunn (1982), and JC Clark Ltd. (2000). John served as Chairman of the Toronto Stock Exchange from 1995 to 1997 and held positions on numerous other Boards throughout his career, including The Empire Company & Arbor Memorial. John has successfully managed money for over 40 years, across a wide variety of economic and market environments. John sold his interest in JC Clark in 2010 to focus his efforts on building Caledon Trust Company.
